Mission Transitions

Elementary teachers know that transitions can be intense. From getting the school day started to packing up to go home, students go through dozens of transitions each day. Every time students are asked to get out or put away supplies, rotate centers, or begin the dreaded "quiet" walk in the hallway, teachers have a plan of what it should look like and sound like, but our students usually have other ideas.
